According to the calendar it's spring...although you'd never guess it looking out the window.
Last Friday when we got home from work/daycare we made a couple of snowmen in the yard. I had "cute" accessories picked out for them, but the boys had another idea...Husker snowmen...as in the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Life with boys, what do you do?
The good news is that it's finally supposed to approach 50 degrees this weekend! Sorry Mr. Snowman...here's hoping your time with us is brief.
I'm ready for flip flops, but I have to admit that it was pretty fun playing with these guys!

What a difference a year makes...

On this, the first day of spring, it's 3 degrees outside. 3 degrees. 3!!!
You're cruel Mother Nature, just plain cruel.
This time last year we were playing on the (almost green) grass - I have proof:
Remind me again why we live in Minnesota...
Oh yeah, that's right, I remember now. Come onnnnnnnnnn summer...we're waiting patiently for your return!

Ahh...winter...

I'm generally not a huge fan of winter. I don't like the cold, I don't like scraping ice of my car windows & having to let the vehicles run for a while before driving them. I don't like shoveling snow...or even wearing a coat. I don't like starting my Jeep every few hours in below zero temps just to make sure it will start in the morning when I need it to.
What I dolike love though is seeing my guy have fun...and boy does he enjoy playing in the snow!
Goals for the weekend:
What I do
Goals for the weekend:
- Start a new "Pinterest Challenge" project!
- Finish framing out the book nook in the attic.
- Measure out the side entry way for (& possibly purchase) new tile. (I'm thinking a herringbone pattern?!)
